SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer 7.1 is shipped with BI integration functionality that can access SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0 in a seamless fashion. Using the SAP BI Connector, you can get real-time access to SAP NetWeaver BI InfoProviders, queries, query views and master data (BI characteristics). The Visual Composer connects to BI via BICS (BI Consumer Services). SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer also supports direct integration of SAP applications using BAPIs and Enterprise Services. As of 7.1 EnHP 1 BI Consumer Services additionally enable the use of BI Java Connectors to get real-time access to selected non-SAP relational and multidimensional sources.
