How is becoming pre-certified in the Small/Minority Business Enterprise program beneficial to my company?
An awarding agency may select a Small/Minority Business Enterprise from the pre-certification list only after such awarding agency makes a good faith effort to find an eligible Small/Minority Business Enterprise in the directory, and determines that no Small/Minority Business Enterprise is qualified to perform the work required under the contract.
