How is BBC affiliated to Queens University Belfast (QUB)?
BBC is a constituent college of the Institute of Theology of QUB. BBC lecturers on the degree courses are recognised QUB lecturers. In liaison with our colleagues in the other colleges, we teach the modules, set the exams, and mark them. The degree is from QUB and high standards are maintained by all the usual mechanics applied within the university system in the UK., making us radically different from those bible colleges that merely have their courses accredited by an external university. However, because we are independent, our fees are low. Indeed, if you receive a mandatory grant – it could well be free!
