How is Banner Tutoring Services, Inc. different from a learning center?
Most learning centers have set times for tutoring each day, tutor children in small groups, use a curriculum that is separate from the child’s school curriculum, administer costly assessments to every student, and require long-term contracts. We are different in that our tutors come to your home, at a time that is convenient for you and your child. Sessions are always one-on-one and are customized to fit your child’s needs. We do not use a prescribed tutoring program; instead, we use your child’s school curriculum and design lessons that support and supplement what your child is learning. We will also communicate with your child’s teacher if necessary (and with your permission) to be sure that your child is on the right track.
