How is Astra Sweets dealing with the new legislation with regard to allergens?
Effective from November 2005, this new legislation prescribes that 12 substances must be declared on the consumer pack if they are used during the production process, regardless how they are used, for instance as an ingredient or as a manufacturing aid. These substances will be declared where applicable in the list of ingredients printed on each pack manufactured by Astra Sweets.
