How is assessment of my business for the Healthier Options Award carried out?
A member of the Food Services Team will assess your business for compliance with the food safety and food standards elements of the criteria by visiting your premises. The healthy food choices will be assessed by a Health Authority dietician by completion of a questionnaire. It is helpful upon the visit of the Food Services Officer if you can provide them with a copy of your menu for them to forward on to the dietician.
