How is anime created?
In Japan, anime is the equivalent to Western culture’s cartoons. There are many differences that set these two different styles of animation apart, but they are created in similar ways.Storyboarding and Concept WorkBefore the animation process can begin, the art and storyline of the project has to be determined. The director of the project will then develop a storyboard to give rough detail of the anime’s story and animation in a visual form.Key-AnimationAfter the storyboard is completed, it is sent to key-animators to give a basic motion of how sequences in the anime will occur and how much time it will take for each sequence.
