How is an RFID tag applied?

0

There are a number of options available for automatically dispensing and applying the tag. Factors that affect the selection of an applicator include label size, carton speed, carton placement, and height variation and placement accuracy requirements. The preferred methods are semi-automated or automated “Print-and-Apply” processes. In these systems, cartons are fed to the label applicator by hand or preferably by conveyor. Another label printer at the end of the process prints a pallet level label that’s applied before the palletized load moves through the RFID portal.
