An Inquiry is conducted by the Custody Review Board either in-person or by telephone. The Board member may contact the various parties identified by the youth and/or facility by telephone or in-person meetings to collect the necessary information to make a recommendation to the Provincial Director. An oral hearing is a hearing conducted by the Custody Review Board. All parties will be notified of the date and time of the hearing and the parties will have an opportunity to provide information and present their point of view.
