Teams competing in a Halo 3 Championship Bracket will be seeded according to the following order of importance: 1. Pro Status Ranking 2. Semi-Pro Status Ranking 3. Pro Circuit Rolling Rank Points 4. Open Bracket Seeds Teams competing in a GoW2 Championship Bracket will be seeded according to the following order of importance: 1. Pro Status Ranking 2. Semi-Pro Status Ranking 3. Pro Circuit Rank Points 4. Online Qualifier Rank Points 5. Open Bracket Seeds Teams that bypassed the Open Bracket will be seeded ahead of all Teams advancing from the Open Bracket. Teams who finish the Open Bracket without losing a Match will be seeded ahead of any team who lost a match in the Open Bracket. Teams who lose a Match in the final Open Bracket Winners Bracket Round will be seeded ahead of all other teams that lost a match in the Open Bracket. The first Pro and Semi-Pro Status Rankings of 2009 will be released after the 2009 Meadowlands Competition.
