How is an IFS schedule for payment determined?
Schedule [For Awards Issued Prior to January 1, 2006]: The first IFS payment will be paid in advance in accordance with the approved Project Budget and Schedule of Payments, upon Award Activation and the submission by the Principal Investigator of an appropriate CRDF payment request form. Subsequent IFS payments will be paid at the beginning of each award quarter upon receipt of a satisfactory Project Status Report and corresponding payment request. The final IFS payment to the foreign participants will be paid only at the conclusion of the Agreement term and the acceptance by the CRDF of a satisfactory Final Report. Schedule [For Awards Issued After January 1, 2006]: Effective January 1, 2006, a new IFS payment schedule will be effective for all CRDF awards (NB: GAP projects are excluded).
