[ back to top ] The particles of the Microlon resin range in size and some of the larger particles may not pass through the Frantz type oil filter. This cartridge must be removed or by-passed during the treatment period to avoid a possible loss of some of the particulate. A Frantz type oil filter resembles a toilet paper roll, not a conventional oil filter. Nothing is bigger than 5 microns.
