How is all the Carbon Dioxide being emitted into the air affecting the Ozone Layer?!?!?

As has already been said, Carbon dioxide does not affect the ozone layer (you’re thinking of CFCs there) but rather traps solar radiation within the earth’s atmosphere and contributes to climate change. As far as the rainforests go, your point that their destruction would result in a net increase in carbon dioxide is correct as the trees would not be there to sequester it. There would also be CO2 released if you assume that what is cut down is burned as is often the case. However with the climate change argument it’s not quite as simple as that as rainforest destruction would cause an increase in local albedo (a measure of how strongly a surface reflects solar radiation) possibly resulting in local climate cooling.
