How is “advertising” defined?
There are no specific provisions defining “advertising” under the PAA or the KRPIA Advertising Code. However, under the AFIA, an “advertisement” is defined as the act of broadly informing consumers of a particular business or its products by means of periodicals, newspapers, broadcasting, telecommunications, pamphlets, samples, tickets, the Internet, posters, signs, balloons, video, records, books, movies, plays, the products of other businesses, and other similar media.
