How is a wiegand sequence generated by the reader?
If a wiegand sequence is not provided to the reader by means of a wiegand input (such as in the case of a V-Prox or V-Flex), then the reader will create a wiegand sequence based on the Template ID number (as the wiegand string id number) and the Alt Site Code (as the facility code for pre-defined wiegand formats). In the case of a pass-thru format, the reader will create a wiegand sequence based on the template id number alone and all other bits will be sent with a value of 0.
