Primary Battery : battery which can be used for one time only (non-reusable) It includes Hg battery, Lithium-Mn battery, Alkaline battery, etc. Secondary Battery : battery which can be reused through the processes of discharging (chemical energy converts into electrical energy) and charging (the opposite procedure) It includes Ni-Cd battery, Ni-H battery, Lithium- ion battery and Lithium-ion polymer battery, etc.
