RIM is subset of IMS, Infrastructure Management Services is broad definition for setting-up, managing and maintaining an IT Infrastructure of various enterprises. Managing, problem solving, troubleshooting and maintaining IT Infrastructure in Remote manner from Remote location with the use of tools, processes and technology is called Remote Infrastructure Management.
