To be considered for recognition nationally as a Pop Warner Little Scholar All-American, a Pop Warner participant needs: 1. To be in the 5th grade or higher during the current Pop Warner season. 2. To have a grade point average (GPA) of 96.0 or higher for the entire previous school year. The GPA calculation excludes athletic grades such as physical education and health. 3. To submit a signed PW All-American application through your leagues scholarship coordinator. The application should include activities such as academic honors, extracurricular activities unrelated to sports, and community service-related activities only from the past year. Why are Report Cards Submitted? Athletes eligible for PWLS AA recognition are determined based on grades submitted for each participant. All children/parents are asked to submit 2 copies of his/her report card in early August (when practice starts).
