How is a players age division determined?

Youth players’ age divisions (U5-U19) are determined according to their date of birth and the North Texas State Soccer Association age chart. The age chart bases a child’s age division on his/her age from August 1st- July 31st. Please note that the dates used by NTSSA are different than those used by the public school system. The age division for players with August birthdays will be lower than their school age group or grade.
