How is a packet identified to the KIV-21 as an encrypted message?
The IP Header Structure has the following fields:VersionHeader LengthType of ServiceTotal LengthIdentificationFragmentation FlagsFragment OffsetTime To LiveProtocolHeader ChecksumDestination AddressOptions and PaddingIf the Protocol field is set to 0x09 (IGRP), then what follows is a KIV-21 encryptedpacket. After decrypting, the KIV-21 will verify the correct Red IP address & Key Map, ifincorrect, the packet will be dropped. If the Protocol field is set for another value, i.e, 0x06 (TCP), then what follows is NOT aKIV-21 encrypted packet and the packet is dropped.
