How is a multi-channel CDI different from a normal CDI?

0

Most CDI’s on the market today are single channel. That means that they can only drive one coil. While that’s fine if you have a distributor or a single cylinder engine, newer cars have multiple ignition coils that require a multi-channel CDI like our Twin Fire CDI.
