How is a medieval knight important to medieval society?

0

I knight was important because of the layout of Medieval society. Basically, The king was on top, and he had lots of land. To much to handle. So, people like Dukes and Barons and Bishops traded military force for land. That way, when the King was in trouble, he could call them, and they would have to help. The knights belonged to the Barons, Dukes and Bishops. Though they weren’t that high on a social level, they were important to Medieval society.
