The most important step is to see your Postgraduate or Associate Dean with responsibility for less than full time training, to discuss your reasons for wishing to train less than full time and to ascertain whether funding will be available. Once your post has been organised the proposed timetable should be sent to the less than full time training advisor at the RCOG for approval in advance of the start date. The RCOG will check the timetable to ensure that it includes appropriate training elements.
