As a distance learning student, you will work more independently than is typical for regular in-class courses. Online students may or may not have face to face meetings with their instructors. The rest of the time, you will study on your own. This also means that you are much more responsible for your own success by structuring your own time, meeting deadlines, and completing assignments.
