How is a Champion floor different from portable hotel floors?
Ordinary portable floors generally have aluminum frame construction that is joined by overlapping side slots or by interlocking metal plates where any four corners meet. They are then inlaid with wood parquet or vinyl sheets. This system produces uneven support because the aluminum frame is hard and unyielding. It provides no spring action. Furthermore, there are visible seams between sections and sometimes panel separation can occur after intense or prolonged dance activity.
