At WES, Annual Giving supports the operating budget for the current year. The money is used for a variety of expenses such as utilities, building maintenance, and field trip fees. WES relies on Annual Giving to fund the difference between tuition income and the cost of educating WES students, which can equal $2,500 per child. By contrast, a WES capital campaign is a very special fundraising effort developed exclusively to build a fund for a specific purpose.
