The food processing sector has a vital linkage with hotel and restaurant equipment & supplies and it is our endeavour through the medium of this fair to showcase this linkage in appropriate perspective. It is obvious that the growth in production and consumption of processed food will have a great bearing on the demand configuration for hotel and restaurant equipment & supplies and vice-versa. In effect, considering the boom in both domestic and international tourism, there is scope for great investment in both these sectors to be able to address the requirement of India as an increasingly attractive tourist destination as well as meet the steadily rising domestic demand.
