How institutions are granted accreditation?
A. To gain accreditation, an institution first conducts an internal survey to measure its criteria against the standards set by WHeAS. The agency then holds an evaluation process and either grants or denies accreditation or pre-accreditation status. If awarded fully accredited status, the Council will periodically re-evaluate the institution. The length of the initial accreditation ranges from 18 months to several years.
