How Indus River changes its river flow pattern in Indus Civilisation?

It is said that the delta of ‘Sindhu’ (‘Indus’ for you) was more easterly from what it is now. It used to be the low level areas called ‘Rann of Cutch’ in the north of Gujarat state in India. Now these areas get inundated in monsoon making ‘Cutch’ a big island. There is an elevated bank like ground at the western end of the Greater Rann of Cutch, named ‘Allah Bundh’. It is said that an Earth-quake raised this ground cutting of Sindhu water flow (while keeping areas to the East low). No proof can be obtained that Sindhu flowed there in the Rann, except that the sites of ‘Indus Valley Civilsation’ were scattered in to these parts.
