In young women where x-ray – mammography’s are not advisable because of radiation, ultrasonography is an very effective method of diagnosing diseases of breast. Currently according to international practice, women below 35 yrs should be imaged only be ultrasonography for any breast abnormalities, so as to prevent radiation.
