How in the world do you tie a Yorkies hair in a topknot?
Doing a topknot is not the big five elastic band with teasing and hair spray that some people make of it. We finished many Champions with a plain old simple topknot like you’ll see illustrated in the next two figures. All that teasing wrecks the hair and the hair spray can cause serious damage to the eyes!! I usually don’t start doing topknots until they’re about 10 months, and even then you have to redo it every day and keep their nails short or they’ll rip up their hair.
