How important was the contribution of the Greek Diaspora in Obamas victory?
I’m very proud for our Diaspora. Of course, there will always be Greeks supporting either the Democrats or the Republicans. There were people from the Greek Diaspora who supported Barack from the very start; Papanikolaou, Mougiaris, Zambas, Athens, Christopher and many others. They saw Obama’s potential to win, as well as that he will be better for our issues.
