How important was spirituality in Renaissance?
DIA you just blew your cover. Only because men were more craftsman like in those days that doesn’t mean that the labor of these craftsmen had anything to do with spirituality in their creations. The Renaisssance (French: rebirth) was a movement in European civilization that bought renewed interest in classical learning and values. Inspired by the ancient Greeks and Romans, Renaissance artist produced paintings and other art work based on the observation of the visible world and practiced according to mathematical principles of balance, harmony and perspective. Now if you want to suggest that mathematical principles are spiritual, go for it but remember that Di Vinci,Michaelanglo and Galleao were are odds over the evident scientific truths that were developing at this time with the “so-called” spirituality of the Papist Church.
