How Important is the safety of our children at Lucky Ducky?
At my daycare, I want to assure you as parents that your child’s safety is taken very seriously. We practice safety here…I have installed outlet covers and all cabinets within a child’s reach that could possibly pose a hazard are safety locked. We have a gate at the bottom of your staircase and one at the exit of our play area inside. Smoke detectors are located on each level of our home, along with fire extinguishers near the furnace and one in the kitchen near the stove. 2 first aide kits are also placed with in the daycare. Monthly fire drills are practiced in the event of a fire. A list of emergency numbers is posted by the telephone. In addition to this, it is important that I have an emergency number for an alternate person in case you can not be reached. Please give prompt notice of change in address or telephone numbers at home or at work.
