How important is the Indian market for Cunard?
India is an immature, but developing market. It is very important to us. The Indian market is certainly maturing, not only economically, but globally as well. Clubbing the two components, Cunard is just right for the Indian market. We ve been coming to India for the past 80 years and we will continue doing the same. We noticed a large shift in attitude in the market, when a multinational company approached us to host its conference. We are extremely pleased that Cunard is not only viewed as a leisure option, but is also considered a suitable venue for conferences. We have a large fleet of ships and can cater to the various needs of our patrons, for example, we have an Indian chef on QE2, so catering to vegetarian food lovers is no problem at all.
