How important is the applicants GPA/numeric representation of academic record?
It is expected that an applicants grades will be high. In general, applicants must have a first class or high second class honours degree, or its equivalent, from a recogniseduniversity. While each Department stresses different criteria, demonstrated academic abilities are always important. The Gates Trust interprets grades in the context of other important skills, such as leadership potential and social commitment. As such, there is no minimum numeric or GPA requirement.
