Since a TEFL course itself is not going to be a make or break factor in getting a job in Korea, you would be better off going with a quality online program than one of the top TEFL courses like the CELTA or Trinity. The price for these courses is steep and if it turns out you don’t enjoy teaching English, it may turn out to be a waste of your hard-earned money. The most important thing about your TEFL course you need keep in mind is the number of hours of study time it includes. If it’s over 100 hours then your in safe territory as far as credibility to your school is concerned.
