Paper F6 is the foundation for Paper P6; therefore it is very important to bring a sound knowledge of the areas covered at Paper F6 to the Paper P6 exam. Although the questions at Paper P6 will look very different from those you’ve seen at Paper F6, a significant proportion of their technical content may very well be Paper F6 material. Accordingly, you will find it very difficult to succeed at Paper P6 without a strong knowledge of Paper F6.
