How important is it to include a photo?
It can be very important. We all like viewing ads with photos. In fact, ads with photos get approximately 7 times more responses than ads without photos. This makes sense because you feel more connected with someone when you can see her or his picture (there’s a real person behind that ad). You can also get more of a sense of the person’s personality through his or her photo. Also, many people just browse ads with photos and never look at the ads without photos. So, you don’t need a photo to be a member, but it is highly recommended that you include one.
