How important is it to have a lint trap in the dryer and to clean it regularly?
The lint trap is a filter that helps prevent lint from getting down inside your dryer. Clean the lint out after every load of laundry is dried. Lint inside of a dryer is the main cause of a dryer overheating and starting a fire. This can then spread up the vent very quickly as lint is extremely flammable. We can also check and clean the interior of your dryer, if necessary.
