How important is it to get the color balance right before shooting?
If shooting JPEGs, it is pretty much critical. If shooting in RAW, then you have more latitude to “fix it in post”. At the same time, if you have a perfect color balance (because you used your custom white balance feature in your camera) then it makes like much easier in the post-processing stages. The less steps the better in a real production environment. Time is money, right? If you can spend a few extra minutes up front, you can save a lot of time in the post-production aspect of creating HDRI files.
