How important is it that the Arsenal way of playing football is encouraged throughout the Club?
M: It’s very important. If you’re playing that way at a young age then by the time you get to the first team you’ll fit in perfectly. If you’re learning long balls it’s not good for your progress. I feel privileged to be learning such a great brand of football here at Arsenal. A: Definitely. I enjoy playing the Arsenal way too. All the passing and playing with just a few touches – it’s the best way to play. It’s simple and it suits my pace and my style of play. Have you ever had to scrub the boots of a first-team player?
