How important is it for the videographers to attend the rehearsal? Aren videographers intrusive?
Unless we’ve taped a ceremony at your wedding site before, I feel it is very important to attend the rehearsal. This enables us to meet the participants. Also, it enables us to avoid such unpleasant surprises such as windows or lights in poor positions for the video, and attendants blocking our view. Believe it or not, good wedding videographers are less intrusive than most photographers. At Ferrer Video Productions, we firmly believe in the sanctity of the wedding ceremony and strive to be very unobtrusive. We dress like the wedding party; our equipment is silent. We useradio controled dimmablelights during the ceremony, and at the reception we use low-level, variable-output lights. You will hardly know we’re there until you pick up your completed wedding video, and then you won’t believe your eyes!
