How important is domain extension in optimizing a url ranking using keyword in a domain name?
One approach that helps you rank a domain for a keyword is to get a domain name with the domain name being the keyword you are optimizing for. My question is this- if a .com domain is not available for a keyword, will a domain name with the desired keyword with an extension other than .com be as effective from a ranking perspective as a keyword loaded domain name with another extension such as .net, .info, etc. etc.
