How important is bandwidth?
It is important for real-time streaming, but if you don’t have fast connection speeds in your area, you can still benefit from podcast and BitTorrent downloads, necessary for HD content in any case (rarely will HD stream in real-time, but ‘never say never’). If you are curious and you have a PC at home, use a third-party speed measurement site such as numion.org to test your real bandwidth.
