Julie Bowers – IBM (video clip) It is absolutely necessary, I really think, to be considered for some of the top jobs or your top choices – to have that edge you need such experience. It’s a requirement I think, because there will be people with that experience and the employers will say, “We want these people because they have the experience and they have proven themselves at least to some degree.” Whereas someone without that experience is basically unproven.
