How importance of early treatments or therapy for lymphedema to prevent reccurent secondary lymphedema?
Patient that have obstruction of lymphatic (Lymphedema) that usually have symptoms such as fatigue which caused accumulate fluid in the body’s organ, skin discoloration and thickening (such as skin thickening in the legs, male genital, and female breast) may lead to risk of lymphangitis, diffuse inflammation of connective tissue, sore on the skin, and lymph nodes disease. Early treatment for lymphedema is important due to prevent damage of the lymphatic system it self and more over due to recurrent of diffuse inflammation of connective tissue. Lymphedema may caused with many factors. Some factors may lead to risk of lymphedema such as occurane exogenus bacteria from broken skin (skin cracks, cuts, surgical wound, burn, etc), lack of mobility (the stress of prolonged pressure on the tissues that performed to skin ulcer), infection, malignancy, and autoimmune disease.
