How illegal immigration raise welfare cost?
Illegal aliens apply for a wide range of social services (and charity aid!), most often by claiming to have a child born in the US (half of these so-called US-born children are in fact identity-theft babies — the parents steal the birth certificate, SSN, etc. of a US-born child). Welfare, WIC, food stamps, medicaid, etc. are all widely used by illegal aliens although they are not actually eligible for them. All illegal aliens receiving welfare benefits commit fraud of one sort or another! Numbers are somewhat deceiving since they tend to get payments for more children/more people than the typical US-born family, so the per-household cost is higher, multiplying the impact of the high number of households. So they raise the costs of welfare 2 ways: by actually taking welfare payments and services, and by taking low-income jobs from US citizens so that when they can’t support themselves, they have to go on welfare or can’t get off welfare and into a job.
