A. When a file added to iPod, then it’s ID3 tag used to populate information in iTunesDB record, as title, album, artist, and others. In addition, MediaChest can use information from directory path and file name to fill any missed information from ID3 tag. A user can edit any field of iTunesDB record at any time without affecting on real content of ID3 tag. A user can also select option to override some ID3 tag information from song file name or directory.
