How hyper are cocker spaniels?
I have two, one a working strain and one a show strain, and the working cocker is absolutely off her rocker most of the time! She must be walked and she must be given lots of attention, but the other one, who is actually younger, just likes to sleep and cuddle up next to you. Perhaps it’s luck of the draw, but if you don’t want a really energetic dog then a working breed is not wise!
